Lee Green Basketball Academy

Film Breakdown Feedback

The tape does not care about reputation, effort, or excuses. It shows the decisions. That is why film is where basketball IQ actually gets built.

How It Works
1
Submit The Film

Send game or scrimmage footage through the player contact form. Full games, halves, or clip reels all work. Game film beats workout film every time.

2
Coach Reviews The Decisions

We grade the same way we grade on the floor: the read, not the make. Every possession gets sorted into correct reads, missed reads, and forced plays.

3
Breakdown Session

Your player walks through the film with the coach, breaking down each player on the floor and themselves, until they can call the read before the clip plays.

What We Look For

Before the catch. Was the player ready, or did the play have to wait on them?

The first defender. Did they actually create an advantage, or just dribble?

The help. Did they see the second defender, and choose finish, pass, shoot, counter, or reset?

After the pass. Did they relocate, or watch?

"She broke down each player and herself... we've started doing it at home for all training sessions."
